How to watch New York’s final Democratic mayoral debate. - The New York Times

banyakjin.blogspot.com

The final debate among the leading Democratic candidates for mayor of New York City takes place Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.

After last week’s debate, which featured only five of the top contenders, eight candidates will return to the stage: Eric Adams, Shaun Donovan, Kathryn Garcia, Raymond J. McGuire, Dianne Morales, Scott M. Stringer, Maya Wiley and Andrew Yang.

The event comes as some 64,000 New Yorkers have already cast their ballots in person since early voting opened on Saturday. Limited available polling suggests the race has begun to coalesce around a few candidates, but it also shows some voters remain undecided.

It will be the last high-profile opportunity for voters to hear the contenders discuss their policies and visions of recovery before the June 22 primary.

Here are some of the ways you can watch and follow the debate:

  • Reporters from The New York Times will provide commentary and analysis throughout the debate.

  • The first hour of the debate will be televised on WNBC. The full event will be available on NBC’s streaming platforms and on the network’s channels on Apple TV and Roku.

  • A Spanish-language broadcast of the first hour will be available on Telemundo (channel 47). The entire debate will be streamed on the network’s website.

  • NYC Life TV will broadcast both hours of the debate on Channel 25.1.

  • Other streams are often available on YouTube.
