The Sacramento Kings will tip-off their preseason on Monday night with a game against the Phoenix Suns, the reigning Western Conference champions, at the Golden 1 Center.
Fans that live within 75 miles of the Golden 1 Center will be able to stream the game on Kings.com; everyone else will have to tune into the game on Sports 1140 KHTK.
The Kings’ next two games won’t be televised locally either, but they’ll be available to watch on NBA League Pass. The only Kings preseason game that will be locally televised will be their matchup against the Lakers on Oct. 14. That game will be broadcast on NBC Sports CA.
It’s unfortunate that so many Kings fans won’t be able to experience Davion Mitchell’s first real taste of the NBA, but the good news is that they likely won’t be missing much. More often that not, preseason games are slogfests that end with 10 players that probably won’t even be on the opening night roster — Monday night’s game should be no different.
