It is not uncommon to see companies perform well in the years after insiders buy shares. The flip side of that is that there are more than a few examples of insiders dumping stock prior to a period of weak performance. So shareholders might well want to know whether insiders have been buying or selling shares in C-Rad AB (publ) (STO:CRAD B).
What Is Insider Buying?
It's quite normal to see company insiders, such as board members, trading in company stock, from time to time. However, most countries require that the company discloses such transactions to the market.
We would never suggest that investors should base their decisions solely on what the directors of a company have been doing. But logic dictates you should pay some attention to whether insiders are buying or selling shares. As Peter Lynch said, 'insiders might sell their shares for any number of reasons, but they buy them for only one: they think the price will rise.

C-Rad Insider Transactions Over The Last Year
The Independent Director, Peter Hamberg, made the biggest insider sale in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for kr2.4m worth of shares at a price of kr43.00 each. So we know that an insider sold shares at around the present share price of kr39.70. While we don't usually like to see insider selling, it's more concerning if the sales take place at a lower price. Given that the sale took place at around current prices, it makes us a little cautious but is hardly a major concern. Peter Hamberg was the only individual insider to sell shares in the last twelve months.
