Greenwich leads the pack with 795 electric vehicles registered in the town, according to data provided by the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles. Stamford comes in at number two, with 578 electric vehicles, followed by Westport, Fairfield and West Hartford.
The list of the towns with electric vehicles changes somewhat when factoring in population. Westport has the most electric vehicles per capita — 17.5 electric vehicles for every 1,000 residents.
